Scope of services:
The installation and servicing of a variety of lift types to customers within the UK.
To meet these duties a Safety Management system has been set up which promotes health and safety, risk reduction and monitoring. It is the policy of this company to ensure that this Safety Management System and responsibilities for health and safety are assigned, accepted, and fulfilled at all levels within the company.
The company will ensure that all practical steps are taken to safeguard the health, safety and welfare of all employees, visitors and contractors to all premises or operations within our control. The company will ensure employees are provided with such information, instruction, training, and supervision as is necessary to secure the health and safety at work of all employees.
It shall be the duty of all employees to take reasonable steps for the health and safety of themselves and any other person who may be affected by their acts or omissions. It is essential that all persons within the company contribute towards making work areas and methods as safe as is possible and where necessary co-operate with the company to enable legal obligations to be met.
The company remains committed to consultation with employees over health, safety and welfare matters and by way of promoting this employee involvement the company will actively encourage employees from all areas of the company to establish safety committees and become involved in regular safety audits. This will be encouraged at all premises or operations within our control.
The company will provide information to employees appertaining to the health and safety of employees and this will be regularly reviewed and discussed at all levels within the company.
Periodically the policy statement, organisation and arrangements will be reviewed and updated, as necessary. Top Management is ultimately responsible for ensuring that this policy is prepared, implemented, and reviewed.
